Enough is Enough-Town Toyota Center-Prop 1

Wenatchee promised .33% sales tax would fund arena in 2005 and to never ask others to bail them out. In July 2012 Wenatchee imposes a new .2% increase in sales tax. On April l7th, 2012 voters passed another .1% sales tax increase? Now Douglas county will ask voters for another .2% sales tax increase on top of the .3% that starts this summer. Will be interesting with Wenatchee employees being asked to take cuts in benefits at same time?

Frank Kuntz is a part of this. He says he voted against the Center. Not true. He did vote against it on May 24, 2007. However he did vote for it on a number of times regarding constructing the Center. Research this on the internet and you will see his voting record regarding the "White Elephant" Town Toyota Center arena.

That's funny. And that's spot on. Thanks legislators for messing this whole region up by building the "white elephant". And thank you to Former Wenatchee mayor Dennis Johnson, the Center pretty much demonstrates his skill level. The worst mayor in Wenatchee history. And of course those 3 Wenatchee council members who voted for the Center, Carolyn Case, Christy Filby, and Don Gurnard. A pretty sad bunch of folks there.
