Every time I look around for led head lights for my car, it's recommend not to use led bulbs for head lights, b/c the bulbs don't throw out enough light on the road at night and night driving visibility poor.

That's why you should at least have driving lights as well. I have two halogen driving lights with my LEDs. LEDs by themselves would not be recommended.

@jay611j What do you class as driving lights? What you showed on the bottom of the car are FOG LIGHTS, not driving lights. In the UK you get fined for using front or rear foglights unless there is fog! LEDs as headlights are useless compared to 55watt bulbs. The ONLY car using LEDs for headlights is the AUDI. They need 5 superbright LEDs aimed at different angles through huge lenses to produce a light intensity that matches a halogen bulb. Never use these cheap LEDs, you invalidate insurance.

@urbex2007 No they are driving lights and here in the USA they can be used at anytime while driving. As far as the LEDs go, they are for SHOW, not everyday driving! By the way, this video was geared towards a certain group on a forum.

i have a question can 3175 led dome lights fit into a dome light area for a 97 nissan maxima ? i keep searching and can't seem to find a way to see if it'll fit

It should fit. 3175 is the stock bulb for a 97 Maxima, and the LED dome lights are pretty much made to stock sizes for the most part.

Not well at all. LIike the man said these are just for show. There's no cheap way around it . If your looking for that intense purple/white HID look your going to have to purchase an HID conversion kit. Go Phillips USA or Mcculloch (made in Germany ) I paid $269.00 for my Phillips kit. Stay away from brands like Flashtech and the other E Bay Garbage. Most of them are Chinese made knock off kits and could fry your voltage regulator. And if your car is new you just voided your warranty.

If you are looking for an LED replacement for a 9004 headlight (Sylvania Silverstar Ultra or equivalent)....... sorry. There isn't a stand alone LED headlight that can come anywhere near the lumens of a 9004 bulb as of yet.

They look nice but wouldnt use them as main headlight. I have a Mazda 6 and CTS and put LED on my parking/daytime lights, It looks really nice, especially the cool blue color. Stick with Sylvania Cool Blue for main headlights.

well check the koito site they develop the ultra brilliant led and i think the lexus already mount that kind of tech...the halogens compare with this r much better

@jay611j They look good man, good job. If you want more light output, try switching your fogs to led's and put the halogens or hid's in the main headlights. Bigger reflector and higher up= longer throw.
