The initial Prototype Design of Dynamic EHR Sensor Interface was built, using a PDA as Dynamic EHR Sensor Interface. In the back-end, data are stored in a MySQL database. We implement the back-end EHR system as MIRTH (an open source cross-platform HL7 interface engine that enables bi-directional sending of HL7 messages between systems and applications over multiple transports) with an attached MySQL database rather than build a specific open-source EHR.
