This is really popular in the south of Brazil...we call it Quirera
Instead of sweet potato, we use mogango (green skinned pumpkin), which is also sweet and soft. Many variations exist, inclouding using pork ribs, bacon and linguiça calabresa (a sort of smoked chorizo).
It is delicious, and one of my favorite dishes in the winter...

Please dont call this a tajin lamb, there is no connection with moroccan cuisine with this horrible dish.
