When my husband was on active duty, I cried every time I heard this song. Even now that he's home, I cry for the family who are still waiting on their loved ones to come home.

I know I am lucky to have my husband home with me now, but even still, seeing this video or hearing the song makes me cry for all the people who are still seperated. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

March 14th will mark 5 months that my husband has been away for active duty, and sadly we're looking at another 8 months of being apart. I love you and will see you in the one place where distance doesn't matter, dreamland.

When this song first came out my husband was on a world cruise in the Navy. I remember every time that I got in the car and started to drive it would come on. And I would cry like a baby a few times I had to pull over. My poor kids though I was going nuts. Now my husband is on his final deployment before he retires and will be home in soon. We are in single digits now. It still makes me cry. And it is our 19th Anniversary today.
