  • i want to know if you can help i will describe my situacion. I replaced my front end suspension it previously had drums the newer one has disc brakes i read somewhere that i was suposed to change the master cylinder to a dual master cylinder for better braking so i did after all the hassle i noticed that the original has 3 holes for the brake line and 1 for the reservoir the dual cyl. has 5 for lines (thats what it looks like) and holes for the reservoir. Do brake switches go to the extra 2 ?

  • @rayvdub , well on mine there are 2 lines from the reservoir, 3 brake lines and 2 switches. I can send you a pic if you would like..

  • @Bowerso thanks for the detail i see how it goes now. It seems the 2 switches are the same size as the thread for the break lines i didnt know. I will apreciate any pictures you can send of the master cylinder all hooked up so i can see the way the hoses are conected ill try to post a video as soon as i get my cam back thanks again

  • @rayvdub , just send me a private message with your email and I'll send you a pic of how it looks all hooked up..

  • how much does it cost to re do an engine like that. i just got a 69 bug the engine is decent just need upgrades basically everything, any suggestions?

  • It all depends on how much money and how greasy you want to get, if the engine is decent then just dress it up a little and drive it, if you are looking for some more power buy pistons and jugs. I would suggest 1776cc for all around performance/longevity.

  • My dad has had about three of these all of my life. I hated it, everybody was on their monstruous trucks except us, anyway I think it's a good car.

  • There's no way not to like this video.

  • Beautifull.. just beautifull to listen to the engine sounding. i have a 1972 beatle, I have changed 2 ,1.6cc carburrators and unable to run smooth until I switched to a 1.8cc Webber.. But I am still not able to get the engine run smooth. Can somebody help give your suggestions as I am new to this game. My email add will be dassky2000@yahoo.com. Thanks
