Stretch Eats a Deep-Fried Twinkie

Inspired by a plea from Fee Waybill of The Tubes for more attendees of their Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk show to purchase deep-fried Twinkies, Jeff "Stretch" Riedle succumbs to the suggestions, and purchases one of these greasy fast food delicacies. This moment in history was captured for posterity on a little cell-phone video, and is now being shared with all our friends in cyberspace, just because some things need to be seen to be believed.

This moment happened on August 29, 2008, the last time in 2008 there would be a music concert on the Boardwalk- a day which happened to be when Michael Jackson, John McCain, and Craig Scoffone celebrated their birthday.

This was the first short film I ever created with a cell-phone. The Motorola E815 is no PXL-2000, but it does create a pretty crappy looking image that's reminiscent of that style of low-budget PixelVision video production.

I highly doubt that anyone will read this, but I was the kid who made & served Stretch the deep-fried twinkie. I wish I would've known that this would be on youtube, if so, I would've made a larger contribution to it

or

i think you should go back for a sequel, I do still work there, but not @ the deep-fried twinkie stand specifically, but I'm sure I could arrange a day to change that. Perhaps going with deep-fried oreos might be an option to entertain
