On, Dec. 13, 2011, Sen. Robert Menendez (D-NJ) launched an online petition aimed at the White House, plugging an initiative that would make it easier for some undocumented immigrants to gain legal status.The petition asks President Obama to allow individuals with citizen or resident family members to request a waiver from three- or ten-year bars from within the United States.
