Hitler: Assassins Creed 2 PC DRM fiasco - parody

Deep in his underground bunker, Nazi generals report to their Fuhrer about Assassins Creed 2. After 6 months of delays and after waiting for 12 hours in front of Deutchmart, like a Jewish prisoner in Auschwitz waiting for a piece of bread, Steiner, Hitler's personal game agent finally manages to buy a PC copy of Assassins Creed 2.

Even though console versions worked perfectly and required no special circumstances, the PC version of Assassins Creed 2 has more DRM than an Asian schoolgirl in heat. Mushi mushi.

To play the game you need to log on, create an account and keep your internet connection active. Furthermore, the Ubisoft servers dedicated to this travesty must also run so that you can play the game. If there is a connection problem with either the Ubisoft servers or your computer you just can't play it.

The irony is that pirates will be able to play it, because they bypass the internet connection requirement altogether. It just goes to show that DRM hurts paying customers not pirates.

Hitler is very upset. He remembers other bad pc ports like GTA 4, Alone in the dark or Star wars the force unleashed. Zig Hail!

Logically thinking, considering that the protection's been already cracked, and Ubi's not planning on enhancing it, they should release a patch that removes the protection. Because pirates ARE currently playing the game no problem.

If they're too ashamed to admit their defeat, it's their problem, but to clients it looks like instead of saying "Oh well, we tried" and releasing the patch, they're releasing their anger on them.

Causing them to pirate the game.

To play it whenever they fucking want.
