I don't want to get into a debate as to the comparisons of someone who has tough mental strength and someone who in terms of fighting will take on more than person at a time and still come out on top when the odds are stacked againts them. When a person is known as 'someone who can have a row' they get a reputation as a hard man. Its the same as Phil Mitchell in Eastenders. Your definition of hard is what I call mental toughness.
