im only about 12 i try drawing this it turned out almost the same the problem is the size i cant seem to do it right plus i can only draw step by step any tips

Why teach people to draw minor detail before the basic frame structure of the face? Isn't foundation more important than decoration especially since the actual facial features are the parts that draw you in. You're laying down icing before even baking the cake. Drawing looks like a girl, just not THAT girl, possibly because you drew the outlines before the facial details. The cheek on the left, it should be distorted since she's applying pressure to it. Lon's Rule 2. follow a good procedure!

I am sure you could do it better. I am sure I could, too. This is just a 5 minute sketch to give some basic principles.
I didn't post these for critique, but to encourage others to draw.

i have noticed that you generally draw children's eyes bigger than they really are...is it to show their youth? do you try to make any other changes too to show how young they are??

It is better to error on the side of making them too big than too small.
