I tear up when I hear this cut. This is something really special; was when it came out and still is. One of my folks favorites and my introduction as a little boy to Sly. I can see the label spinning around on the turntable and being stunned at what I was tapping into. The univox at the front with Andy Newmarke

In Time stands the test of time. Probably the most "out" tune Sly ever released. However ,I gotta believe he has some tunes that either never were released or were just rolling around in Sly's head. He is without a doubt The Quintessential Godfather of the Funk ",FUNKCZAR",if you will. A what a journey it has been for him.. God bless you Sly.
