GOOD TIMES, the greatest comedy that was ever on television. Cosby was real good but Good Times was the greatest. NO TV SERIES WAS NEARLY AS GOOD

In the black community, they only enforce laws, such as profiling black men, frisking black men, arresting black men, shooting unarmed black men and ignoring when one of us when one of our family members reports us missing and ends up murdered! If James and Florida had reported this man and Thelma's relationship, the police would have just said, 'Typical black females! SMH. This goes on every day with black people.' Thelma was only impressed by this man's money!

How come Thelma could get a pass and not follow the family rules? Thelma was dating this man for two months, he never picked her up at the door as required, and her family did not demand to meet him? Thelma only wanted to marry this man because he could introduce her to the finer things in life which she had never experienced before plus, he had money. Also, why was this grown ass man dating a 17 year old in the first place minor girl and why didn't he just come upstairs to meet her folks?

@handsomeone77 to be honest, they really didn't enforce laws such as statutory rape back then - especially in the minority community. And that's what it's called when an adult has a (sexual) relationship with a minor. Who's the football player that's in the news now for having sex with an underage girl?
