@ssstate727 Not so sure. Aretha's rendition of "I say a little prayer" far surpasses Warwick's. Part of the issue is just to listen with open ears .. in pop, you anticipate according to the reading you know.

Fantastic! Excellent work, and to the orchestra as well.

The brass is one of a kind, the piccolos are BAD ASS and the singer is awesome, this recording to me is far better than the other one on youtube. This has much more pressure, joy of playing and splendid timing.

Well done. Found this clip by accident. Keep at it. I love it (you).

@58Mellon No, I would just like to know how one pronounces such a peculiar name as "Trijntje Oosterhuis". Dutch names sound peculiar to me. How would one e.g. spell it in German? Best regards from Brazil / Viele Grüße aus Brasilien.

@YZippy Hi Jeff, about the band: This is (a part of) the Metropole Orchestra, a unique combination of Jazz, show, symphonic and pop orchestra, containing the best Dutch musicians for over 40 years now. It's a one of a kind band, and the very best international singers en musicians are standing in line to perform and do projects with them.

Give her a break. These songs were taylor written for Dionne Warwick's voice. What Warwick made sound 'like a walk in the park' were some of the most deceptively difficult songs ever written.
