  • I see a lot of comments on here about Manfred Mann. Manfred Mann was a great band but there is no question that they were Springsteen's bitches. Blinded By the Light, Spirits in The Night, and For You were all covered from Bruce's first album. So those of you saying Mann did it first are WRONG. Springsteen is one of the best out there, Manfred Mann is good but is no where near as talented in my opinion... They would probably tell you the same thing

  • bruce did it first

  • do u have any studio version?:{

  • all cover versions are in some way "RATHER" lame but Manfredd Mann were nothing to do with Bruce springstein or if they were...... perhaps it was Brucey that was Bob Dylans bitch pml just a thought ye can mock one without the other like dya catch me drift ?? Bruce Springstein is utter shit in my humble opinion......

  • bruce may have done them first but he's got nothing on mann! mann's version is at least 10x better than the " E-street band"

  • Great video footage thanks, clearly there's a few retards on here talking shit about the great master & other people cover ing his song. Not Bruce fans, so sod off to a Manfred Mann Earth Band Channel. Thanks Josh anyway.

  • Springsteen's version (the original) is more 'jazzy' and has a bit more of a swing to it. Manfred Mann's version is pretty different; however, it is still very good. Personally I like Bruce's better. Just love that epic piano/organ bit at the beginning then the big man coming in with the sax and Bruce starting that first line! Bruce and E street are so fricken' amazing!!!

  • sad sort of, its like out of a bad cruise ship movie

  • i think they started about the same time as the Beatles

  • its the artists way of giving tribute to each other i would think, they all do each other

  • i was there in Germany back in 1980 when Manfred Mann played at the school next to the famous castle in Heidelberg , complements u.s. army ( 1978-1981 ) yea,,,,,,the trip i got lost on
