@AmbersKnight Yeah I don't understand either. Since when do we get to vote on civil rights anyway? Why are we persecuting people for something they can do nothing about? Speaking as someone who has struggled with her sexuality, I am appalled that we are fighting over such a silly and backwards notion. Someday it will be legal and every American will look back on this as being just as silly as the governor of AK trying to stop the Little Rock Nine from entering his HS because they were black.

@Samansu21 Yeah I saw the whole clip couple of days ago. Just looked like Amber from the small clip I saw. At least that mystery is cleared up. Bigger mystery is why so many people are trying to stop legitimate, law abiding couples from marrying. I've heard ALL the arguments that the opponents of gay people marrying or even being recognised as equals have made and not one of their arguments stand up to any sort of scrutiny. Not one.

I am overjoyed (and I say this as a straight guy in the UK) that Prop 8 has been overturned. it was a disgraceful piece of legislation that write segregation and discrimination into the constitution of a state in a country that is supposedly about freedom and equality.
I have one question about the video itself though. At about the 0.30s mark there is a clip of a celeb at a pro-equality rally upset at proposition 8 and saying "This is so wrong". I am convinced that is Amber Benson. Is it?
