Another test with Particles - this time dusting a logo, slowing down, rotating the camera around and then returning to normal speed.

  • good one. hi res.

  • It's only 240x192, if i would make it in hi res, you would see how much there is faked to get this result - much blurring to hide the particles, ... ;)

  • by 'hi res' i didn't mean this movie clip resolution but the particles resolution - and there's a lot of those. how long it took to render?

  • There aren't much particles, 100000 or so afair. They are just small, and the blurring makes them look more like dust. Without blur it would look like crap. Took some hours to render, most because of my slow computer... don't know how long it was...

  • in what system? pflow, blender, n particles, particular? :)

  • excellent job. how did you get it to stop disintegrating in the middle? is there an ipo? also, how did you get it to disintegrate top down?

  • Is it a logo with normal material added, or just bunch of particles to an invisible object ? anyway how did u achive the shiny material of the logo?
