@alraguc Honestly it is (yeah I realize your post is almost a year old, sorry if I'm bugging you about something you long forgot ^>^). I work for a gutter installation crew and not only are they useful, they are greatly overpriced for the protection and instillation time. Not that we don't like getting orders for them though, so we still sell them...
So yeah: if you're installing them for money they're fantastic, if you're installing them to protect your gutters you're just wasting tons of cash

Whats the point of installing gutter screens if you need to climb up and clean your gutters every year anyway? Sounds like a waste of money and time.

Most gutter gaurds work quite well. When buying do it yourself products like these you should try to buy the most sturdy ones so they do not blow out our fall into the gutter with the weight of ice and snow.

These work fine. I've had them installed on my home for nearly 3 years now and I haven't needed to clean out my gutters since. I peeked inside and there is a thin layer of grit on the bottom of the gutters, but I just leave it alone and everything is fine.

@averylbrooks they work but i would use zip screws on them because they sometimes blow off most commonly on older gutters that have had ladders layed against them but if u screw them on there fine

The gutter screens almost look like they would prevent all the water from making it into the gutters. Anyone out there have these and can tell if the gutter screens prevent the gutters from capturing all the water?
