When I tried getting my friends onto the whole geisha subject and showed them this dance they didn't think it was beautiful, they said that all they could think was "I'd like to get that wailing lady in a jar and shake it up like she was a frog" and "how is an annoying wailing lady beautiful". They didn't even look at the maiko. lol

@ShiNyahT no that white part you're seeing is of the kimono if you look inside the edge you see the under collar that is red. Plus the obi is long, which is what maikos wear.

well, as far as i know, this is a senior jikata geiko... She is also on some other photos and videos taken in Gion Higashi...

I dont think that is a senior geiko. The have different hairstyles. I would rather think that she is just a musician that has been hired to play at the wedding.
