Cape Henlopen State Park with awesome sunsets, pelicans (yes, I said pelicans) flying overhead as the sun sets over the Breakwater Lighthouse, great blue herons, snowy egrets, biking and hiking trails, great and varied restaurants offering super discounts after the tourists leave, and early 18th century buildings in Dover and New Castle along with many historic cemeteries - works for me!

as someone who was born in Delaware...best things i can think of is, Trolly Square, Dewey Beach, Wilmington Blue Rocks, the Gold Club ;-), the Dupont Hotel/Theatre, Rehoboth Beach, the Dover Race Track....and thats it, but i think thats enough to make it seem like an awsome place

that's not true. i live in delaware. we have beaches, a bay, multiple rivers, a city which in the good areas is really nice, beautiful nature reserves and parks, tons of farm land down south, great private schooling system and one the best universities in the united states. plus its centrally located so it only takes about two hours to get to NYC, washington DC, jersey beaches, the chesapeak bay, and a lot of other desired locations.
