why is it that voice is supposed to be judging people on their voice and not on looks etc, isn't that the whole point?,

but they always seem to weed out the fuglies before the end

I watch both shows but..... x factor is a complete mess.... the voice is a legit awesome show full of talented people instead the gimmick factor who only had like 6 acts with talent..I'm glad 3 of them were in the finale at least.. cassadee HAD to win.the voice needs a star to shine in the music industry and she has the voice ( other were better songers) but it takes more than a voice to succeed..& I'm not talking about looks, I'm talking about a signature sound and convey songs and she has it

I agree about the final Voice contestants not taking risks. Once Amanda and Melanie were eliminated, the competition became boring, with the final four singing almost everything like the original. I agree that the over-pimping of Cassadee caused other great (and much better) performers to fall out of the race. I could tell that the producers weren't interested in Nicholas or Terry, and at some point they just stopped trying. A lackluster ending to what could have been a great season.
