Arranged Marriage: A Jemi Love Story S1 E7

Demi's POV
I just laid down on my bed, flat on my stomach, and cried my eyes out. That was painful. My mom's pained face, Selena's tears, and my worthless shitty tears. I couldn't stop at all. I felt like I've never been insulted in my whole life. But this this crossed the line. I couldn't take it. At all.

Selena's POV
Oh... my... God. I'm never going to forgive Joe for this. That was just indescribable. Jackass. I looked over at Demi and started crying with her. Suddenly, Mrs. Jonas grabbed Demi's arm and started yelling at Joe, yanking Demi off the couch. She started crying even harder. Actually, I've never seen her cry this hard. Not even when dad died. That had to mean something. Demi has always had very low self esteem, and I don't think this made it any better. It just made it a thousand time worse. Reactant, Demi jeked her hand away from Mrs. Jonas, and ran upstairs.

Selena: *Stops crying and walks up to Joe* Wow, Joe. That was really low, even for you. I always knew you two hated each other, but I never knew something like this would ever happen. Do you realize this is no less painful for her than it is to you? Maybe even more. The whole day yesterday, I never saw a smile on her face. And that's a bit shocking because that girl is always smiling. Instead of a smile, I got tears from her. For God's sake, Joe, she CRIED herself to sleep! I never, in my entire life, wanted to say I felt sorry for anyone. But, I guess today I'm being compelled to say it, and that too for my SISTER. I feel SORRY for her for having to marry a pig like you. A fucktard like you. I REALLY hope this hurt you Joe. REAL bad. *Scoffs and leaves, everyone speechless*

I went upstairs to our room and saw Demi crying on the bed. I sat down next to her. At this point, I really didn't know how to console her; I was so full of anger.

Selena: Hey, Dems. You don't need to cry for him. It's Joe! It's expected. He's an ass and we all know it. He was he was probably just intimidated that he's getting married at 19! *Rubs her back*
Demi: Selena. *Stops crying* Can you just just go away right now?
Selena: Alright. *Hugs her* I'll be downstairs if you need me. *Leaves*
15 Minutes Later.
Joe: *Walks in*

Joe's POV
Holy shit. I think I overdid it. I can't handle girls like this! I walked over and sat down on the bed. I saw a picture of Selena and Demi laughing. I guess she felt me sit on the bed.

Demi: Selena, I thought I told you to- *She looked up and saw Joe. Then she sits up and wipes her tears* Give me a break, will you? *About to leave, but Joe grabs her arm and pulls her back*
Joe: Wait... I'm... Im sorry for what I said down there. I... I wasn't... I wasn't thinking.
Demi: If you didn't know, saying sorry can't make you take back what's already been said. Tell me, Joe. Can you? CAN you take back what you've said? No, right? Then when I go to your house, we'll be nothing more than roommates that have made a commitment to each other.
Joe: What are you talking about? The engagement's today..
Demi: *Closes her eyes, opens them slowly* That's enough surprises for one day.
Joe: Whatever. Just come on and get this over with.
Demi: *Gets up and goes to the bathroom to freshen up*
Joe: *Under his breath* Girls...
Demi: *Comes out and walks downstairs. Before she could say anything, her mom grabbed her arms*
Diana: Honey, listen. I'll be completely okay if you don't want to get married.
Demi: *Answers after about 2 minutes* No, mom. I'm okay. I -- I can do this. Really.
Mrs. Jonas: Great! Demi, I reassure you nothing like this will ever happen again.
Demi: *Smiles*
Diana: Alright. Here's your ring for Joe. *Gives her a ring*
Mrs. Jonas: *Gives Joe a ring and places him on the sofa*
Diana: *Places Demi on the couch next to him*
Demi: *Places a ring on his finger*
Selena: *Takes picture*
Joe: *Places the ring on her finger*
Selena: *Takes picture*
Mrs. Jonas: This is amazing. We are finally real family to each other. *Hugs Diana*
Diana: *Smiles and hugs back*
