Not sure if it was just an urban myth in the 70's, but I heard about a few people getting their teeth knocked out by 'talk boxes' due to the entire output of a Marshall 100 watt amp suddenly shooting up the tube into their mouth!

Probably wasn't the Golden Throat but be careful there Graemey!

I enjoy your demos very much and they just wouldn't be the same with your front teeth missing ;-)

Im on vocals, is there a way that I can sound louder? Im using a shure MS 58 mic but sometimes the other instruments usually cover my voice. Any speaker or effect that I could buy? or probably is the PA equalization? Whats a good equlization for voice on the mixer?

had tested a Banshee Tube Box- yes, u can knock out ur teeth easily - just with Mic close to mouth...;-))

then u stomp a bit on the mic stand- bomm! the mic is like a hammer...

btw here on the demo, u only open& close ur mouth producing kind of a wah sound, whereas the point is likely to speak or sing something to get the robo speech efx.

i could get this efx with the Banshee but find it very hard and demanding to archive it really. And my teeth are not the best any more too.;-)
