Uhhh since when did a ss come with N/A engines? are you sure he didnt have a 2.4liter with a SS package? or maybe a cobalt sport with the wing and SS badges? Dont go and start cussing and stuff at me im only asking a question cause from what i know ss cobalts never came N/A. They ussualy have supercharger or turbo(08 and newer).

Being a person that is looking at cobalts I do not hate them but depending on what year that si is and what motor I will have a very good chance of winning against a ss. My Del Sol makes 200 hp to the wheels and will eat a stock ss alive.

both uptowntwan and me are the same person....dont get me wrong im not a honda hater at all i juss dont like people making idiotic hating comments on videos. the fastest sivic engine i know is the one now at 197 net hp. the old ss was 205 net hp. civic wudnt win unless it weighs alot more which i dont know if it does. and yes ur del sol would eat and old one alive. i dont know about the new ss tho.

lol but its not turbo and the SS would beat your SI.... the LT wasnt designed to go against the SI it was designed to go against the EX. Now its such a shame the 193hp SI just cant beat the SS/TC. Well maybe honda will grow a pair one of these days.

ok.let me clarify something about the cobalts right now. the base cobalts (LS&LT) had a 2.2L ecotec motor. the 2005-07 cobalt SS came with a 2.4L N/A motor OR a 2.0L Supercharged motor. in 2008 the "2.4L SS" was dropped for the cobalt 'sport' and the 2.0L supercharged was replaced by the turbo cobalt. the odd rated HP of the SS/SC cobalts we higher at the crank then advertised as the 205HP was recorded AT THE WHEELS. a stock SS/SC cobalt will beat ANY year SI when raced stock and stock

@DOHCCordia Yeah real fair comparison. 193 hp vs. 260hp....of course the SS/TC will win. No stock honda can run a 14.1 in a quarter mile. I hate idiots. It's such a shame that the cobalt is an unreliable piece of shit though :)

@vinnieg2831 Cobalt SS 2.4L auto came N/A, only the manuals came with SC's or TC's, in 08 they changed the SS auto's name to Sport
