  • Looks great, what kind of adhesive did you use? What would you estimate the materials cost to be?

  • @aussieker1 Concrete Bonding Adhesion, Sika and Quickrette, milky white, two types: one you apply cement to before it dries, and other you wait till glue becomes tacky with a sheen. This is a particularly big driveway, circular, I only completed about half, spent about $300 as compared to concrete replacement cost of around $10,000, entire driveway replacement cost around $20,000. The wear was on the top, so I could use a Sandtopping Cement, it was in good condition, stable.

  • i have seen used concrete filler before laying down tile to get it even but i didnt think it would work with the weight of a car on a driveway. thanks for the video i was about to bust remove the driveway and pour a new one. I do have to agree that music is rough lol. thanks again

  • @oweky Well this type of cement is called 'sandtopping cement', obviously because it has no stones in it, but it is specially made for this application as long as you first apply the concrete ahesion liquid. My driveway is still going strong, any weak spots will reveal themselves in the winter and spring, then you just patch with the same material and process. Glue, glue, glue, don't scrimp, and make sure surface is clean. Take your time, saves money and looks nice too.

  • could do without the music but it's a very informative video and an excellent job! I'm trying to fill in some holes in my driveway and found this video.

  • @tebasak1 Just make sure you clean the hole thoroughly, and when you fill them, feather out the edges with a wet paint brush 3 or 4", and you can go over the whole patch with the wet paint brush for a nice finish.

Also you can watch this video again without the sound, but then you won't be grooving when your moving.

  • @jcbearlover Mute sound and just watch; hey I love that music, it makes me dance in my chair, I like to throw the trowel and go to a disco.

  • @DestinyShows Thanks, and that's Daisy the Cat , her paw prints are all over that driveway.

  • I like the way you move that cement around (slow & smooth) working hard into the night. End result is amazing. Cat attack!
