    "Stupid is as stupid does"

    Maybe Forrest means what makes us stupid is our stupid actions in life, and not what we think. Kinda more like:

    "Stupidity exists only in our wrong actions through life, and not in our intelligence."

    Thats interesting. The german translation of "Stupid is as stupid does" tells you automatically that, what you have thought about it. Trying to translate Forrests sentence by myself into german is driving my crazy
