A quick stroll through some of the "out of the box" functionality of Mandriva.
Not mentioned in the video:
Also has the usual software (an office suite, burning/messaging/etc/etc software), was able to read my windows formatted drives, and worked with the media buttons and SD reader on my laptop.
P.S.
There are no cuts. It really only took 58 seconds to download and install that game. Also, I forgot to mention it prompts you to install updates when you boot for the first time, and I did click yes to that, but nothing else was installed prior to the video.

Almost everything you'd want will be in the "repositories" which means you can just go to the add programs section like I showed in the video and search for them.
The flip thing is part of compiz-fusion. Make sure you have it installed and enabled and then you can change what key it uses in the options. I think default is ctrl+windows and drag the mouse. Something like that.

I think this is a real cool video. It's not like most of the others only about the eye candy. Well done.

Fairly close. It's an Inspiron 9300. Specs are in the description. One of the few with the UXGA screen (1920x1200 17 inch).
