The Black Keys' "240 Years Before Your Time" off their album the Big Come Up.

This is the whole song minus the 20 minutes of silence in between.

  • So, I know putting to 20 minutes of silence in there was intentional...but why? What was the point of them doing that? Someone please respond.

  • @Zas379 It's something called filler. They might have had quite a bit of recording space left on the album as almost all of the songs on The Big Come Up are about 2-3 minutes long so usually some bands will do something where they use up that space by doing what TBK did here.

  • I love how you turned a 35 min song into like 3

  • @The10AMautomatic Me too.

  • @The10AMautomatic i love your user name

  • @Zas379 It's kind of a hidden track, If you wait a while on Nirvana's Nevermind, Endless Nameless comes on after Something in The Way.

  • This song is great

  • ...that guitar :']

  • Where is all the dialogue from?

  • This will be played 240 years in the future, and it will still blow people's minds.

  • @iforgotmypen aaaaactually disgustipated was track 69 on the album. not kidding. and what do you mean i described nine inch nails? go to wikipedia and look up disgustipated. all the stuff i listed is whats in the song.

  • @Giannotblue Dissgustipated was track 99 on the undertow album, plus you just described NIN

  • Look guy's the silence is so you think that the track prior to this was the end of the CD. It's supposed to creep up on you, so you listen to it with great intensity. Like...There is two minutes of silence on the end of the track Triad on Tool's Lateralus Album. Which then opens up into Faaip De Oaid, to scare your stoned ass.
