I swear both songs are in the same key and share a very similar rhythm. :p

@MrDjchezzare – To each their own, but I must say I do not agree. I feel that Buddy’s voice is more appealing than Elvis’s. Also, musically, I feel that this version has more talent.

This is alright, but the Elvis version blows this out of the water The cool bass riff isn't there; the Elvis version is more raw & edgey; plus Elvis' voice is way better!

this song was written for me.. i was born in the wrong era. i would have looked amazing in my horn rimmed glasses reading book and secretly listening to buddy holly on the radio at night.
