Haiti March 4 Cuban Hospital in Leogane, Haiti

Leogane, Haiti was the epicentre of the deadly earthquake that hit Haiti two months ago. Reports say 5,000 people died and some 50,000 were wounded, while more than 80 percent of its buildings crumbled. It was a Cuban medical team who first reached Leogane and established a field hospital three days following the earthquake. Since then, some 20,000 patients have been treated here.

Les rapports indiquent que 5.000 personnes sont mortes et environ 50.000 ont été blessés, tandis que plus de 80 pour cent de ses bâtiments écroulés. Il était une équipe médicale cubaine qui, le premier atteint Léogane et a établi un hôpital de campagne de trois jours suivant le tremblement de terre.
