Day 2 required another person to help out. First up we untacked the membrane then heat welded the two long seams. Then we retacked the edges again (pulling tight), cut and welded the corners, and weld on the pre-formed corners. Then we install the termination bar around the perimeter, and finally I caulk the termination bar and all cut edges of the TPO.

  • I prefer clad myself, but if the homeowner wanted something fast and cheap, I guess term bar is ok. But then the caulking turns into a maitenance issue, sucks...

  • Is it possible to install a green roof on a car? I can't seem to find any info at all on green roof cars; even art cars. It gets so hot here in Houston, and there has to be a better way than blasting the air conditioner and getting only 20 miles to the gallon during summer as opposed to 29+ during the winter.

  • he is talking about hand rails, to stop you falling of the roof.

over 6ft high you need edge protection, it is against the law to work without no edge protection.

ps what the the u values in that super thin insulation.

  • that what i do at work, i a sheeter and cladder, good vid
