Ah yes, there's nothing quite like a steaming hot cup of Tim Hortons coffee and a fresh Boston Creme doughnut. Great, if you're Canadian. Not so easy if you live in England and supplies of home brew coffee are running low...

Share the frustrations of a group of Timmy fans stuck in Limey-land without their daily cup. And experience the joy of discovering Timmies is slowly but surely working its way to our shores via selected branches of SPAR.

It's time for Timmies...and we are thirsty!

  • Thanks! Yes the photos do give us away a bit and Canadians wonder what's wrong with us! But we enjoy our visits and our Timmie hits, what more can I say???

  • Hard to believe but no, we have to make do with adding our own milk (not even any cream up for grabs!) and sugar. It all just comes out of a machine, not a patch on the real thing but hey beats not having anything!!

    Cheers for the comments all

  • Cheers mate - just checked our your video too. Nice one, and you are so right - no Timbits is bad form!

  • haha yes we do tend to get a little over excited about our (long distrance!) trips to Timmies. You Canadians don't know how lucky you are!

  • cheers daveni2... that spelling will be the Brit in me showing through..! Yep Timmies really in the UK, has been for a while and we only just found out, how annoying is that???

  • i like strong coffee like at starbucks but there is something good about the Tims coffee that i cant explain it has a unique taste my guess is nicotine or heroin

  • I am English born, but deep down I am a Canadian, and I love Tim Hortons. I really miss the hot choc (I can't drink coffee unfortunately), the donuts and of course I can't forget Timbits. :)

I live in Sussex and discovered a Tim Hortons counter at Asda in Lancing. I must confess I felt like I was in hedonism when I saw the counter. A taste of my (one day) homeland in ol' Limeyland (love the name - I call England that sometimes! lol)

  • I fucking love This place.

  • seriously, who gives a crap? When was Canada ever known for its coffee? Go to Cafe Nero or Costa for decent coffee. Leon do a great capp as well.In fact, there are LOADS of independent coffee shops that do FAR superior coffees, you are simply buying a brand. I guarantee that if I hid the logos and hid it amongst several coffees of a similar blend from other sources, you'd never tell the difference. Get a grip, ffs

  • If Tim hortons were ever to move from my motherland, and into this place i now unfortunately call home, my life would be complete

  • And I was complaining about the 6 mins drive to the nearest Timmies. I promise I won't complain ever again. :P

  • Forget Tim Hortons, try our British alternative - disgusting, slop in Greggs the bakery chain.

  • I was in London and I saw a Tim Horton's and I had to do a double take haha

  • @achammer lmfao

  • Do they sell iced capps at any of the UK Tim Horton locations?

  • yeah i go to canada do me a yorkshire pudding....yuck it dont taste right., i wonder why,,,,,if i dont get yorkshire in canada i,m gonna complain,,,,,,,,,tell you what i,m gonna stop in yorkshire

  • Love This!!
