  • I'm not exactly sure what they're talking about, besides the "work work work" part.

Early on she asks "Why are you starving yourself?"

What does she mean, was he really starving himself?

    Can anyone tell me?

    -Amanda

  • Both characters lost their jobs - Joey (David) is displaying his outrage and emotions by quote 'starving himself' in protest of his job loss. His 'girl'friend is trying to convince him that losing his job isn't the end of the world and he should move on with his life as she has.

Not sure if he was actually starving himself, but he was definitely secluding himself and distraught over the turn of events.
