Raising taxes on the rich and cutting taxes on "middle-class" Americans sounds appealing and Obama is buying your vote that way. But you do not need to be a genius to look at history and realize that taxing the wealthy (especially in a recession) is deadly. If you vote for Obama, we will be in a recession for another 4 years. i just dont see how giving tax cuts to the already wealthy is good for me an middle class man. if you do the math, you would have to wait for the eventual wealth of the rich to trickle down to you and the econmy as bad as it is right now, theres no way thats a good idea. the tax cuts obama wants to impliment will help the middle class and everyone else under that bracket. co-op are already rich and

What somebody does is their own business and is freedom in action! Social Conservatives are against the constitution. They try to make church and state one and make religious laws. If this came to be we would not be much better off than Iran! It is not religious freedom for all when govt owned things/public places are pushing Christianity. Can you imagine how the socons would act if Islam or some other religon was taught at school as they wish Christianity to be? We would have civil war 2

I wish I could change the account name. The only option I have is to make a new one and I am too lazy for that. I used to think that those people were conservative, yet when studying conservative thought, I found that they were not TRUE conservatives.

A TRUE conservative does not give a shit about what people do, as long as it is not affecting other people. (As MJ does)

Because them dictating what is right and wrong is as anti freedom to me as is no protest rights in Iran and China. What one does in their own home whether it be pot, alcohol, sex, etc is their own business and not that of the state or anyone else. Where I live, in Tennessee. Every time a bar is going to open all the churches gang up and stop it. People that live do not live here come to protest it! And the bar will not even be by a church or school. They wish to impose their values on others.
