Cruz VIR Crash 1:30

Turn 1 on the start of the Oak Tree National Sunday race at Virginia International Raceway. A Formula Mazda gets a wheel in front of Eric Cruz's right rear wheel, and Cruz barrel rolls 4 times. SCCA Corner Worker Chuck Stanley arrives on-scene immediately, extracts him and escorts him to safety and waiting EMTs. Driver is fine, car not so good.

There was a flip on the front straight away today. He did 6 barrel rolls at over 100 mph. He was knocked out for about 15-20 minutes, and hauled off in a helicopter. He luckily only broke his index finger, and 1 rib.
