Superobjective: be this good at acting

this guy would make a great Dr. Who.

Is the rest of the play available anywhere?

Wow. Never saw any interpretation so good.

why do pbs stations only run re-runs of Hyacinth Bucket and antique episodes of Antiques Roadshow. here's a shocker: turned on koce the other night and they were running Lawrence Welk! And then they'll show the same episode of each 10 days in a row. I won't pledge a buck to those 'people' until they improve their programs. I would really like to see this!

he reminds me of a young Howard Hesseman

Yeah, I also saw this production - unforgettable. This scene in particular... so intimate and so sensitively delivered.

Does anyone know of a recording of Mark Rylance as Hamlet? I really knew I was in trouble during the "Oh that this too too solid flesh would melt" speech; I started crying... to be so moved in Act 1 Scene 2!
Thanks so much for posting this. Christ, with approximately three hundred damned channels on American cable, you'd think something like this could be aired....somewhere.

One of our most gifted interpreter's of Shakespeare today. I saw this production live and was enraptured with his performance. He found nuances in this role, even laugh's, where I had never thought possible. A truly remarkable performer.
