In July 2001, Black Uhuru and Sly & Robbie took Europe by storm. This 1 hour, 20 minute DVD contains the unedited, uncut, entire concert they gave in Nyon, Switzerland, where they closed the Paleo Festival. Through the late 80's and 90's, Sly & Robbie revolutionized Jamaican music by turning Reggae into Dancehall. They chose to reunite with Black Uhuru, whom they had helped become a leading force in the Reggae industry in the late 70's, early 80's. Black Uhuru's harder, more urgent sound proved to be an ideal vehicle for Sly & Robbie's creativity and greatly benefited from the Riddim Twins' desire to push the boundaries of Jamaican music in new and unheard of directions.

Black uhuru is one of my favorite band ever. I also really apprecilove andrew bees as a solo singer... They did a very nice album for jammys back in the 90's. But This live is just impossible.... Bees is offkey, keyboard Guy is out, and there aint no viiiiibez... Plus, no woman can take puma jones place.

I think its just that he has his delay up a little to high and any kind of screw up will echo worse than if it was dampened a little, and Black Uhuru always plays some strange chords too! I think kets are a little loud also. Sly and Robbie sound amazing tho> Blessings to all!

malcstag correct but its only the keyboarder who is terribly late on his skank i wish the i could have tried outr for them that night.... black uhuru is and will always be one of my favorite bands.. long live the true dub masters..
