Superman returns: Plane rescue

Routh was good, the movies was just hit and miss. Blame Brian Singer.

Well, he's been gone a while, maybe he's rusty. He's not perfect, you know.

what i don't get in this film is that superman has trouble stopping this plane but then, at the end of the movie, can lift an entire continent...with kryptonite in it

He didn't seem like he was struggling at all.. accept for trying not to destroy the plane, or bring it to a dead halt.

Why launch a shuttle on a airplane?
There a number of problems with the idea like the jet fire on the shuttle would ignite the jet fuel in the airplane. Also the weight of the shuttle would make the plane tilt and lose altitude. But its Hollywood BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nasa does transport the shuttle on top of a special Boing 747 whenever the shuttle lands on California. In the movie the shuttle was supposed to detach from the plane before ignite, that was the failure that made all the scene possible.

I woder what kind of aircraft that was meaning the passenger jet the wings looked like a Airbus but the fuelsolodge looked kind of Boeing anyway I never seen this movie but this scene is awesome
