Ah, the memories. We used to have 3 Beetles in my family, now only one of them is still running.
Shame that they don't make the classic model anymore.

By the way, the street where the people clap goodbye to the Beetle is Reforma Avenue, it crosses from side to side (east to west and viceversa) the Mexican capital city. The column that can be seen at the end, in the upper part of the screen before it's obscured by the streetlight is the Column of Independence, more colloquialy known as the Angel of Independence, one of the most famous landmarks in Mexico City.
