  • love this song so nice

  • Arthe samjun gaylya ahet Suchitra Bhagwat. tyamule expression chaan ali ahe

  • I agree with comments made by psid23.Suchitra Bhagwat has sung with perfect expression.Fantastic singer.Where is she by the way?

  • Hi Pallavi,

Yes I too am glad Hrishikesh Ranade won. He was very consistent in all his performances and kept up his standard at all times. You take care as well :)

  • ok, I was not saying because she is "my child hood friend"- that she is a better singer.....read my comments again.....but anyways. All have diff. opinions. .we can go on about this all day. so we disagree on this one.I Anyway good for Hrishikesh, glad he won. Take care and be well

  • Then after I listened to both songs again, I felt that Suchitra's version is sung with ease not plainness as she is depicting in the visual the song being sung by the sadhvi lady who is narrating the song. Vibhavari's song comes as if it is being sung in the mind of the actual character(Ramabai in Swami) so it is intense in emotion.I truly like both the versions and love to listen to the song again and again.

  • I feel that if you listen very carefully to both Suchitra and Vibhavari's songs, each has got its uniqueness and actually cannot be compared on who song better.I am no expert in analyzing but as a layman and after listening to both songs carefully a couple of times(not to analyze but simply to enjoy the song), this is what I felt:For the very first time, after listening to Vibhavari's song and then to Suchitra's song, I felt that Vibhavari's was very intense in emotion and Suchitra's very plain

  • I just read your comment on Vibhavari's tube saying that "Suchitra's version is better, she is my childhood friend", which I certainly do not agree. "A childhood friend" does not qualify her to be a better singer, that itself shows your bias. I also never thought of Vibhavari as a "great" singer. She just sang this song well. I guess we surely can agree to disagree.BTW, Vibhavari was the last one voted out from SRGMP, and Hrishikesh is declared winner.

  • Yes she is Bal Barve's daughter. Suchitra sang it first for Swami. give credit where credit is due. Yes I agree Vibhavari is a great singer, no doubt. I hope she wins Sa re ga ma pa. I believe they both have different sounds. Chitra had to sing it a certain way for Swami, and VA has added a little zest. Anyway we can agree to disagree.

  • Pallavi, "Suchitra Bhagwat", isnt she daughter of Bal Barve? If she is, then I know who she is. She used to do stage shows with Sureshji. I agree the song is old, but Vibhavari sang it with a lot of emotion & Soul. Suchitra may have done it too, but in comparison her version sounds like plain singing.
