Who are the Montenegrins?

A Serb defender visited the Montenegrins in Constantinople (whom there was many in the 19th century) to do a report. He greeted them : "Good evening Serbian brothers!" - They responded to him - "We are not Serbs, my friend!" - "Then?" - responded the confused informant. - "We are Montenegrins." - The informant tried again, and said - "Which language do you speak? Perhaps Serbian?" - "No" - all of them respond. - "Then?" - "We speak the croatian language, but we are Montenegrins." - The informant asked again - "What is the name of your leader" - They answered "Hrvat-baša".

Štedimlija writes about that event in Obzor from 15.01.1937 under the title: "Carigradski Hrvat-baša". The extract from above and the source can be found in the book: Vego Marko, "Povijest Humske zemlje (Hercegovine)". I. dio, publisher Dragutin Spuller, Samobor 1937.

a dobro mozda su crnogorci i srbi braca... ali su srbi nastali od hrvata.... pa dosli bugari tj grci pa vas zgrcili tj opravoslavili...

  • few words from the book (Albania a narrative of recent travel) from....Edward Frederick Knight who visited both countries at the end of 19 century.....................

in my opinion if the Black Mountaineers and the

Albanians are allowed to settle their quarrel by

themselves, no other power intervening, we may

hear of Ali Bay at Cettinje, before we hear of

    Marco Milano at Gussinje.

  • jebote,mi (crnogorci) stariji smo od vas svih govana

  • This is Albanian kind of music in Slavic language, nothing else. In Albanian Montenegrins are called "Malazez" and Montenegro is called "Malezia", the Malazez are in our history a subtribe of the Shqiptar's, like Kosovars (Dardanians) or Camerians. This Serbs and slavized Albanians in Montenegro aren't Albanians who support this Greater Serbia, they should stay to Albania, nobody can't change your blood, that's all.

    Pershendetje

  • montenegrins are slavinised Albanians thats all!

  • I think everyone needs to calm down here, seriously.

Montenegrins and Albanians came from the same pre-Slavic proto Alb/Mont people.

The high content of Haplogroup sub-clade “V-13” in both Cultures clearly signifies a single Race of people, the nucleus of V-13 being the border between northern Albania, Montenegro and Kosovo.

We are obviously (both) descended from a southern Illyrian sub-group.

one culture cannot say that one begat the other…

Also, celtic DNA R1b (scordici) is another sign.

  • @fuerteventura070 only some people from Montenegro have origins with Albanians. not all

"Montenegro" is not a real nationality based on ethnogenesis, its just a geographical region inhabited by Albanians and serbs

  • Majmune glupi, vidi se da si pro-ustaška svinja koja propagira laži!

SRBI I CRNOGORCI SU BRAĆA! Tako je bilo, tako će i biti!

Neka ga puše Tadić i Milo!

    SLAVA KRALJU NIKOLI I NJEGOŠU!

    ŽIVELA CRNA GORA!
