We will all learn something? Not necessarily. Most of the people affected by the Great Depression didn't really understand what was going on, hence the fact that history looks like it's about to repeat.

I totally agree and thank you for informing people. People have been in delusion. The world is facing unprecedented events and people dont want to face the truth. Buy gold, cut back and dont believe everything you read.

As the credit circulations are secured by intervention in relation between (banks) & (corporations/retailers) the real economy will be insulated during 2009.
Past impossiblities are now possible & the house building systems will eventually be secured by the public and the housing crisis will secured from privatised incompetance.
Despite all the past gloom spouted by invester
elites,rises in unemployment will be halted.

Is this just the next Y2K scare? I feel like I'm being dragged from one global "crisis" to the next. SARS, terrorists, Avian Flu, nuclear war, Armageddon (yet again), and now The Greater Depression. ??
