Canadian 70's and 80's music is some of the best music ever created
If it wasn't for american record labels thinking canadians could't meet there expectations we would have seen these bands get much more popular .....Such a shame.
Either way. Thanks Tom cochrane for making some very meaningful and powerful song's

You gotta CRANK IT when this song comes on ... I walked into it when they opened for REO. And I mean WALK INTO IT. I stepped into the arena, and across the L e n g t h of it ... this song hit me in the chest with BASS guitar so hard i thought my heart was skipping. Talk about Upstaging! Man what an opening act ~ Rider ruled the night ! Dont forget Light in the Tunnel / Human Race

@bodysurfer336699 As late as last year I heard CHEZ 106 in Ottawa Play "Light in the Tunnel" into "Power" and then into "Human Race". Threesome of Red Rider!

@addictoyou You missed a lot of good music in the 80's if you hadn't heard this one. SOOOOOO many good tunes. The 80's was THE decade for good music.

@Serragated i agree, bands like april wine, trooper, red rider, crowbar, the guess who, steppenwolf, and many others could have made a much bigger impact if the americans just gave them a shot
-
@bodysurfer336699 haha wow they still do that where i live, and i love it every time it comes on

thanks for the post, one of the best bands of the 80s. Never really got the credit they deserved, at least in the US.

use yourself to keep what you love , alive.
Eddie Cochran must be an ironman, to be able to ROCK like this after all these years! What, he must be around 90 by now?
