Phoenix Dynasty Online is an action MMORPG set in the world of the Warring States period of ancient China (from 475 B.C to 221 B.C.). PDO utilizes a 2.5D game engine, with the background maps and scenery in 2 dimensional graphics, and characters and monsters in 3D graphics. With high quality graphics, the 2.5D graphics outscore other pure 3D games at some levels, but require less hardware resources.
