Episode One.
Demi's POV.

I walk down the familiar hallway, carrying my books on my side. My senior classmates smile at me like always and I flash them a smile as well. I wave to a few people as they compliment my outfit, my hair, and anything else that was visible. Life was great, knowing others adored me. I'm walking through the shuffling students when I find my bestfriend, Nick, getting some books out of his locker, which was beside mine.

Demi:*smiles* Hey, Nicky.
Nick:*turns to Demi who was putting in her combonation* Hey, Dems.

Nick was my best guyfriend and former boyfriend. We gave it a shot on junior year and finally realized we were better as friends. I shut my locker and bring Nick into a side hug.

Demi:So how was the vacation?
Nick:Dude.. Don't even remind me. I'm telling you, Dems, the next time I go, you're coming with.
Demi:Oh shut up, Nick. Summer in Canada sounds fun. How was the wedding? How's the new Mrs. Jonas? *nudges him*
Nick:*sighs* My mom's awesome. She deserves Kevin (Sr.) and Kevin's cool, but.. Ugh. His side of the family is just plain weird.

Demi is interuppted by someone putting their hands over her face. She laughs.

Demi:Hey, Stels.
Stella:*removes her hands, smiling* Hey girly.. *glances at Nick* And Nicky.

Stella was my gir bestfriend. I loved her perkyness. She's contagious at times.

Stella:Soo..? How was your summer, Nick? Dems and I missed you!
Nick:Gah! Don't rub it in my face!
Demi and Stella lets out a laugh.
Stella:Isn't your new family coming afterschool?
Nick:Mhmm, you guys wanna meet them?
They begin walking through the hallway.
Stella:*frowns* I can't. My sister needs my opinion on dress shopping. She's going on a date with Luke.
Demi:Well, tell Taylor and Lucas we said hi.
Nick:But you're coming right, Dems?
Demi:Sure, why not?
Nick:Yes! For dinner too, right?
Demi:We'll see. I have to ask daddy.
Nick:Good, you were my ride home, anyways.
Demi:*laughs* Aren't I always?

[[Last Period]]
Demi and Nick are in photography class. Their teacher is talking with Demi about something, when the bell rings; The class is dismissed.

Nick:What did Mr. Smith want?
Demi:Oh, yeah. He got me this mentor or something. He said it will give a good impression for college, cause the Canadian college dude is like a genious or whatever.
Nick:*smirks* Teacher's pet.
Demi:Nuh uh.. But here's the thing, my mentor's this Joseph Adam person. His last name is Jonas.
Nick:Woah, small world. He's Kevin's son, my stepbrother.
Demi:Nice. Is he like a redhead or something? Is he hot?
Nick:*chuckles* Not sure about the second part, no comment there. But actually, he doesn't look Canadian or anything. No one in their family is. I think their part Italian or something.
Demi:Yummy! Italian guys are sexy.
Nick:*laughs* Again, no comment.

[[Nick's House]]
Nick and Demi walk in to the house seeing a few boxes scattered around the living room. Nick calls out for his mom and she calls him in the kitchen.

NM:*looks up from the blender* How was school, honey?
Nick:Okay, I guess. S'up Kevin?
JD:Hello, Nick. *peeling bannanas*
Nick:This is Demi. The bestfriend.
Demi:*smiles politely* Hello, Mr. Jonas.
JD:*smiles and wipes his hands before shaking Demi's* Nice to meet you. And you're welcome to call me Kevin.
Nick:Yeah. She's staying for dinner. Where's Joe?
Joe:*walks out of the pantry with strawberries* Whaddap.
Demi:*leans into Nick, whispering* Christ, he's hot.
Nick:Good to know. Dude, I didn't know you were a mentor.
Joe:*places the fruits down by his dad* How'd you know?
Nick:I happen to know your student.
Joe:*glances at Demi, smiling not too surprised* You're Demetria?
Demi:*begins to blush a slight pink as she shakes his hand* Demi, actually. And you're Mr. Joseph Adam, or should I say, Joe?
Joe:*chuckles, bringing his hand to his side* Joseph Adam, Joe, Barney.. Anything will do.
