Real Traditional Hmong Folk Dance

Traditional Hmong footwork dance. Common among qeej players which still show footwork dance. The Hmong in Yunnan have a fighting match which includes only the usage of feet.

Unlike Chinese and Laotian which use mostly hand and slow body movements, Hmong people dance in fast pace, often synchronized, circular and in kailedescope formation. Traditional Hmong dances are accompanied by the Qeej and Drum, which are two important instruments in the Hmong culture.

A well known traditional Hmong dance among the Hmong in China is known as "Qeej Tuaj Taw."
