During a certain time of year queens lay special eggs (male and female) that have wings and they will mate during a certian time of the year. Females loose there wings afterwards and look for a place to start a new colony and males die shortly after mating.
I have ants that look somewhat like these, but the ones I have are jet black like ink. Are the still carpenter ants? Also, the ones I have don't have wings, or at least not any that I've seen.
Only 4 or 5 % actually come out of the nest - you will never kill them all without finding the nest - they are too smart to take poison back to the nest - all girls too - bitches!
Remember, don't leave the bait where you've sprayed or vice versa. They won't take the bait if there's spray nearby. I'm dealing with my own carpenter ants right now, they've taken over the whole house! I just got done putting a bait trail all the way around it! They are really bad this year, 4 people I know also have them.
god damn it...i just found these assholes in my room...i think i know where they are coming from as they are just in one spot right now...i killed them with some ant killer for now, 2mrow i'll have to see if i can do anything myself or not
leaving some bait by where i think they are coming from...grr...why my room first? bitches
Some audio would be helpful. Do they all have wings??? I heard one carpenter ant could live up to 19 years!! I heard it on the news on the radio!! Is that really true??
