Idaho District III - Nampa High Marching Dawgs

The Nampa High Marching Band performing a show entitled "In the Shadow of Dragons." The music is composed by Key Poulan and the drill is designed by Jeff Fackler. With this powerful show the NHS Marching Band was able to win the DIII marching band competition held in Boise, ID, taking home the (6') sweepstakes trophy for the fifth year in a row (2003-2007). This accomplishment would not have been possible without the dedicated direction by the following: Tom Stone, Ted Carrico, Christy Watson, Karen Kimble, Bill Thompson, Shad Williams, Noe Martinez, and Oscar Carreno. Furthermore, this of course would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication put forth by the drum majors, band members, and color guard.

i am in the colorguard and the band hadnt hid our trophy our coach christy hasnt put it in the trophy case yet she likes to keep all of the colorguard trophies in her office so i dont know what you are talking about. the band has been there for the colorguard the whole time and supports us 100% of the time just like we do for them

Hmm... Really sad that people bash bands.. But I'm in this band and I don't know what you're talking about with hiding the color guards trophy, but I was happy with everyone's performance when we did this show.

at which festival, or do mean in a sport? because we havent lost a marching tournament in idaho since treasure valley festival of bands in like 2003

Ahh freshman year. That was so cool! D3 is so amazing! even though my ligature flew off before the first 5 bars of music it was still great! Can't wait for D3 this year!
