I just feed them spirolina powder. Some people mix a little egg yoke and/or a little yeast. If you really want to see them grow nice you might get them some selcon, it's an omega 3 lipid that really boost their diet, helps them grow and also ifs good if you plan on feeding your sea monkeys to your fish.

I don't. Or I should say I haven't. Today I think I will suck up the bottom debris with a pump suction device. I have to be careful as I now have a million lil babies born from the adults and will undoubtedly suck up some of them in the process. See my latest video of this same tank 1 month later. This will show how these guys progresses in size and number. I will also make a new vid showing the babies and the suction device later today. Latest vid: youtube.com/watch?v=rovNiomc1NM here

man if u ever try hatching with ''sera artemia mix'' never buy this brand, they absolutely suck and have a really low hatch rate, i tried 5 packs in a week and there is always more unhatched eggs then brine shrimp and its is impossible to seperate the two since they like swimming right over the unhatched eggs

Yes. Generally a heaping teaspoon of sea salt per quart, or level teaspoon per liter. Ordinary table salt will do as long as it is NON-IODIZED. The iodine in iodized salt will kill the shrimp. Best to use either sea salt or aquarium salt.

optimal levels of salinity are about 25–30 parts per thousand (25-30 g/L). around 1.018 specific gravity as measured with a hydrometer. (sea water is around 1.023 specific gravity so it will be slightly less salty than sea water) pH: around 8.0
