This is my version of Blind Melon's "Soul One". I've always wanted to hear a drum track on this song. I tracked the drums in real-time using a Boss DR-5 drum machine.

This is far from perfect...
So please don't be assholes. ;)

I have fell in love with this band. Never heard them really until about 2 weeks ago. They are now maybe my favorite. I sing in a band too but never recorded anything. Im gonna record music like this for sure. Blind Fuckin Melon !!!! I love it.

Blind Melon is one of the legends of the 90's... Shannon Hoon's last show was here in Houston,TX. Really sad.

You should definately check out their latest material - They have a new singer, but its still really fresh stuff.

i THINK IT SOUNDS REALLY GOOD. i FELL IN LOVE WITH BLIND MELONS MUSIC IN 1996 . THEY ARE THE NEXT BEST THING TO lLED ZEPPELIN IMAGINE IF THEY COULD HAVE MADE LIKE 8 MORE ALBUMS

Turbo, the drums add a nice dimension to a great song. In fact, your expertise on the 'kit' really comes through on all of the touches and accents...any real drummer can see the work you put into it...much appreciated! Also, really nice montage on the vid portion...great pics and remeberances. Great job all around, dude!
